This is a very nice purse to take to a formal occasion (wedding, prom, etc.). It's a nice size - not too small, not too big. It feels soft, like suede. I used the silver chain so I could loop it over my shoulder, but tuck the chain inside, and someone could use it as a clutch. My only negative comment is that the metal fastener did not want to engage to close up the purse without me having to work at it each time I went to close the purse.Otherwise, I would buy another one in a different color.Bought this for my daughter, and it instantly became her go to bag. She got tons of compliments and the usual “where did you get that purse???” She wants it in more colors.The bag fits small the necessary things for a women: phone, keys, pads/tampons, make up for touch ups, and CC & ID. Her go to bag was always a massive bag which she’d fill with unnecessary things, super clunky and heavy, but this one changed her mind on what a bag should be.The bag is SUPER versatile. You can dress it up or down. Go to the horse races, shopping, a girls night out, pool party, restaurant, or a black tie event. Jeans, shorts, dresses. It will look great wherever you go and with whatever you wear!!!I deducted one star because the chain broke within 5 wears. Thankfully, my daughter was able to use it in the clutch version, but I wasn’t too happy about that. She is going to buy a few chains in gold and silver to switch up the look a bit, but still loves her bag. I wish the seller would replace or fix the chain, but not sure how that works.Very nice purse with the option to use the chain or not. I was surprised at the size of it. I was able to fit sunglasses, readers, two inhalers, cash and license in the side pocket, and a few more things. It is very soft and did not pick up lint. It arrived in a fabric bag within a plastic bag. I kept the fabric bag for storage and to keep the dust off in the closet.Got this for my mother I in law and she loved it!This bag is really nice. I love that it looks great and all my things fit in it.
