Really longest part is 10 inches near the center of the bag. The entire base length at the bottom of the bag is only 7 inches. Not at all what I needed for a specific engagement. However, I do like the bag and will keep it despite already having bags of this size and having spent a great deal of time reading descriptions looking for a longer one of this height and width.I really didn't like this bag. It looks like a child bag they could have done a better job for what they ask for it.
